It's a big day at the Borgata Summer Poker Open powered by BetMGM Poker as PokerNews' official live reporting gets underway with Day 2 of the $600 Deep Stack Kick Off ($1,000,000 Guaranteed).
The 191 surviving players return at 12 p.m., with the plan to play all the way down to the final table of nine. That will be our main focus throughout the day, bringing you live chip counts, key hands, eliminations and all the biggest stories.
Elsewhere around the tournament room, there are plenty of side events to keep an eye on. We'll also do our best to bring you updates from those tournaments, while the official results from Saturday night's $250 Double Board Bomb Pot PLO are expected to be released later today.

With Day 1e safely in the money, we'll be wrapping up the daily highlights blog from the Borgata Summer Poker Open powered by BetMGM Poker.
The race for the bags isn't over just yet, though. Day 1e is now playing down to its 63 Day 2 qualifiers, while Day 1f continues to build. The final starting flight has already attracted 328 entries, with three full levels of late registration still remaining before the field is locked in.
Sunday marks the start of PokerNews' official live reporting from the tournament floor as the surviving players from all six starting flights combine into a single field for Day 2.
The plan is to play down to the final table of nine on Sunday, before returning on Monday to crown the first major champion of the 2026 Borgata Summer Poker Open.

The $250 Double Board Bomb Pot event taking place in the main poker room is coming along nicely. There have been 80 entries after six levels, with the field now on its first break of the evening.
Three simultaneous all-ins broke out on the stone bubble in Day 1e, sending players and tournament staff rushing from table to table.
The first hand to be settled featured David Franks, who had called an all-in from a player in middle position for 79,000.

The player at risk was ahead with pocket tens, but Franks paired up on the 3♥K♥Q♣J♦3♣ runout to score the knockout and ensure the bubble would burst.
On the next all-in-and-call, the at-risk player's ace-eight cracked pocket tens to survive. On the other, pocket kings held against—once again—pocket tens, making it the third consecutive all-in where pocket tens came up short.
With those hands complete, the remaining players were officially in the money, each guaranteed at least $1,200. The next objective is surviving the rest of the night, with only 63 players set to bag chips and advance to Day 2.
With 99 players remaining in Day 1e of the $600 Deep Stack Kick Off, John Dorsey moved all in from the small blind. Andrew Demarco had 79,000 in the big blind and called for his tournament life.

Demarco looked set to become the bubble boy after the 9♣6♦2♥ flop and Q♣ turn offered no help, but the table broke out in a chorus of “woahs” that Tony Sirico would have been proud of when the J♦ landed on the river.
The three-outer kept Demarco alive and left Dorsey short.
On the very next hand, Dorsey moved all in for his last 49,000 from the button and was called by the big blind.

The big blind celebrated after pairing the 9♣6♦2♣ flop, but the 7♣ turn completed Dorsey’s flush and locked up the pot. The K♠ river was irrelevant, and Dorsey secured a much-needed double-up.
Jordan Williamson has emerged as the player to catch in Day 1e of the $600 Deep Stack Kick Off ($1,000,000 Guaranteed).
Williamson sits atop the counts with around 700,000 chips as he and the remaining 110 players head out on a short break. Bubble play is just around the corner, with 98 players guaranteed a $1,200 min-cash. By night's end, only 63 players will remain, earning a Day 2 ticket.
Across the room, Day 1f is also gathering momentum. The final starting flight is about to begin Level 8 and has already attracted 299 entries. With five more levels of late registration still available, that number is expected to climb significantly.
The combined field now stands at 2,298 entries, while the prize pool has grown to $1,194,960 and continues to rise with registration still open in the final flight.
