Bounty Ladder Shootout Filling Up at Borgata

Borgata Branding
Borgata Branding

The $160 Bounty Ladder Shootout is now underway at the Borgata Summer Poker Open, with 78 entries on the clock during the opening levels and late registration remaining open until 6:15 p.m.

Instead of one continuous field, players compete in 10-player single-table shootouts. Win your table and you'll advance to the next round. For round two, the final three players from each table will make it to Round 3, where the tournament is then in the money.

From there, the remaining players battle it out in a standard MTT format for the title, with the champion earning a $2,700 seat into the Summer Poker Open Championship, a custom BetMGM Poker trophy, and the top prize from the $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Champions will be crowned and another Championship flight gets underway on a busy Monday at the Borgata Summer Poker Open powered by BetMGM Poker.

The $500 Borgata Almighty Stack is down to its final six players, with John Malczan returning as the chip leader in pursuit of the title and the biggest slice of the $927,780 prize pool. Also still in contention is Yuriy Kudrynskyy, who has made it to his second marquee final table at this year's series after finishing fourth in the $650 Super Deep 6-Max earlier in the festival.

PokerNews will be following the action from start to finish as the Almighty Stack champion is crowned.

Day 1B of the $2,700 Summer Poker Open Championship gets underway, with a new wave of players hoping to join the 24 survivors from Sunday's opening flight. Lewis Esposito topped the Day 1A chip counts, while BetMGM Poker ambassador Darren Elias advanced alongside bracelet winners Andrew Porter, Charles Hook, and Nicholas Funaro.

Away from the headline events, today's side-event schedule includes the $160 Bounty Ladder Shootout, while players still looking to qualify for the Championship can jump into a $320 satellite awarding at least five seats. The day wraps up with the $250 $2K Turbo Survivor.
