Registration is now closed in the $500 H.O.R.S.E., with the mixed-game event drawing 69 entries to generate a $29,325 prize pool, nearly double its advertised $15,000 guarantee.
Despite registration being complete, it's still very early in the tournament as 66 players remain in contention.
Official payouts have yet to be released, but with the event paying 12.5% of the field, nine players are expected to finish in the money.
There are no shortage of familiar faces still in the hunt. Among those in the field are Allen Kessler, Roberto Pagano, who finished 10th in the $600 Deep Stack Kick Off, yesterday's $500 T.O.R.S.E. champion Dongwuk Moon, and PokerNews live reporter Brett Slezak, who has swapped the laptop for a seat at the tables.
