Haytko Sends Velador to the Exit

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Julian Velador opened to 3,600 from early position before James Haytko from middle position made it 9,000.

Velador made the call and sent them to a flop of 6A10. Velador shipped it for approximately 20,000. Haytko wasted no time making the call to put Velador at risk.

Julian Velador: K4All in
James Haytko: AK

Velador was still drawing live with outs to a flush draw, while Haytko had the best of it with top pair top kicker.

The 5 turn was a blank as Velador was still in need of a heart to escape elimination, but it did not come on the 10 river to award the pot to Haytko.

McGonigle Doubles Through Cheng

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

The board read 810J when this hand was picked up with over 11,000 already in the middle. Michael McGonigle checked his option from the big blind before Rutherford Hayes bet 7,200 from under the gun. Jinfei Cheng opted to respond with an all-in for 37,200. McGonigle joined the all-in train when he also shipped it for 21,000 total. Hayes folded as Cheng and McGonigle went to a showdown with McGonigle at risk.

Michael McGonigle: J10All in
Jinfei Cheng: 97

Cheng held top two pair, but it was in trouble against the flopped straight of McGonigle.

The K turn was of no consequence to either player, and the 3 river was a blank as McGonigle held to score the double.

Marcel Colin

The chips got in the middle preflop after a series of raises led Marcel Colin to be all-in and at risk for 51,700 against Rian Valenti.

Marcel Colin: AAAll in
Rian Valenti: QQ

Colin was in a great position for a double-up after getting it in with aces, but he still needed to fade any disastrous outcomes with five cards to go.

The flop was clean when it came 1023 to keep Colin in the lead.

Colin would shut the door when the A came on the turn to give him top set.

The J river peeled to complete the board as Colin took in the chips.

Jorgensen Leaves Lu with a Pittance

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

This hand was picked up on the flop of 49K with approximately 5,500 in the middle. Elijah Jorgensen checked his option out of the big blind before Yang Lu bet 1,800 on the button. Jorgensen check-raised to 6,000 in response.

Lu made the call and sent them to the 5 turn. Jorgensen wagered 12,000 on fourth street. Lu, once again, made the call.

The Q river did not slow Jorgensen down as he repeated the bet from the turn when he put out 12,000 on the river. Lu gave it considerable thought before he put in the call to go to a showdown.

Jorgensen showed K4 for a flopped two-pair. Lu tossed his hand in the muck as the chips went Jorgensen's way.

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Nathan Robinson began the bidding with a raise to 3,000 from the cutoff. Christopher Picquette followed with a call from the next seat over, and Julian Velador hopped in with a call out of the big blind.

All three players passed on the QA5 flop to bring the 5 turn. Robinson got busy with a bet of 6,000. Picquette folded, but Velador had no such intentions and made the call.

The 2 river led Velador to take the initiative with a jam for 13,400. Robinson pitched his cards into the muck as Velador dragged in the chips without a showdown.
