Christopher Johnson was the first to act and raised it to 800. Christopher Rudd chose to three-bet to 2,200 from the hijack.
Johnson called and sent them to a flop of 6♥9♥5♠ before he checked. Rudd continued for 2,500 before Johnson made the call.
Both players checked the 8♥ turn to usher in the 10♦ river. Johnson put out a bet of 5,800, which gave pause to Rudd.
Rudd opted to fold after some thought as the pot was awarded to Johnson.

Michael McGhee got the bidding started with an open to 900 from the hijack. Scott Aulds called out of the small blind before Rachel Petersen Pagan defended her big blind to create a three-handed pot.
Aulds checked the 3♣A♠10♠ flop, but Pagan was not in a checking mood as she bet 1,100. McGhee popped it to 3,000, which elicited a fold from Aulds. Pagan, however, made the call.
The 4♠ turn was checked by Pagan before McGhee quickly fired a bet of 3,000. Pagan nearly beat him in the pot as they took the river.
Both players checked the 5♠ river to go to a showdown.
McGhee showed A♠7♦, but it was no good as Pagan rolled over A♠Q♦ for a better ace to claim the pot.

The board read 7♦8♠Q♥10♠ with over 12,000 in the middle when this hand was picked up.
Lucian Gruia checked his option from middle position, but James Prager wanted to put more chips in the pot with a wager of 6,000. Gruia made the call to see the river.
Both players knuckled the 3♣ river as they went to a showdown.
Prager tabled A♠Q♠ for a pair of queens that also had a flush draw on the turn that whiffed. The queens were more than good enough as Gruia mucked his hand to award the pot to Prager.

This hand was picked up with over 2,000 in the middle on a flop that read 4♥K♦9♥. Donald Landwirth checked his option from the big blind, which led to a bet of 1,300 from Arish Nat from the hijack. James Shellhamer called from the cutoff, and Landwirth also stuck around with a call.
All three players slowed down with checks on the Q♠ turn and the 2♥ river.
Shellhamer was the only player to show his hand when he tabled 9♦7♦ for a pair of nines to claim the pot.

Andrew Moreno’s journey to his first RunGood Poker Series title was not without its bumps in the road during the 2025 Mission RunGood Million Dollar Main Event held at the Thunder Valley Casino and Resort. In the end, Moreno was the last one standing as he took down the title, the RGPS ring, and the first-place prize of $200,080.
In fact, it almost didn’t happen as Moreno shared with PokerNews that he had misgivings about coming to the tournament at all, due to scheduling issues with his flight and the more important fact that it would keep him away from his wife and two young children. Moreno chose to go through with his plan to play the main event, and it paid off for the accomplished poker professional.

Paul Brown led out for 1,100 from early position, but Ou Saeteurn chose to raise to 3,000 from the hijack in response.
Brown made the call to bring the 7♣ turn before he checked. Saeteurn kept up the pressure with a bet of 4,500 before Brown made the call again.
The 2♠ river led to a check from Brown. Saeteurn unloaded a third barrel for 12,000. Brown quickly called to go to a showdown.
Saeteurn showed 9♣5♣ for nine high. It was no good as Brown had the goods with K♣J♠ for a full house.

Jaime Haletky chose to bet 7,000 from the small blind and was called by Noah Workman from under the gun.
Both players slowed down with a check on the 7♠ turn. Workman showed 10♥9♥ for tens and fives to claim the healthy pot early on Day 1c.
