Marfil Adds More as Ryynanen Fires Big Bluff

Sampo Ryynanen raised to 160,000 in the cutoff. Valentin Imperatore called in the small blind, and David Marfil defended his big blind.

It checked to Ryynanen on the 42K flop, who continued with a bet of 200,000. Imperatore folded before Marfil called. The 6 turn was checked by both Marfil and Ryynanen, and Marfil checked again on the 5 river.

Ryynanen assembled a bet of 900,000 and slid it into the middle. Marfil immediately tossed in a calling chip for Ryynanen to show AQ.

Marfil had top pair with KJ, comfortably raking in the sizable pot to increase his stack further.

Kosk debated his decision for a while before he called off for 1,800,000, risking his tournament life.

Imperatore led out with a bet of 140,000 on the Q turn, which Sorainen raised to 400,000. Imperatore called before leading out again on the 8 river, this time for 160,000.

Sorainen called after a long time in the tank, but he could not beat Imperatore's Q6 and sent his cards to the muck.

Not much later, Sorainen got his 500,000 remaining chips in against Imperatore preflop.
