Qualify Online at BetMGM Poker
BetMGM Poker is running online qualifiers throughout the festival, with buy-ins starting from just $10.
The cheapest option is the $10 Borgata Bounty Shootout qualifier on July 26, where players can win a $160 tournament seat along with $50 in cash.
There are also $50 qualifiers running until July 29 for the Deep Stack Kick Off, Pot-Limit Omaha Championship, Borgata Almighty Stack and Monster Mirror Mystery Bounty. Winners receive their seat plus an additional $50.
Players targeting the festival's biggest event can enter $250 Championship qualifiers through July 28. Packages include a $2,700 seat to the Summer Poker Open Championship and $500 in cash to help cover expenses.
Players should check the BetMGM Poker lobby for start times and any additional qualifiers added during the series.
Live Satellites at Borgata
There are also several live routes into the action at Borgata, including satellites that award seats across multiple events.
The $500 Borgata Big 4 satellite guarantees five packages, with each package including seats to Events 1, 11, 16 and 22.
The $220 Out the Gate satellite also guarantees five packages, this time awarding seats to Events 1, 11 and 16.
Players looking for more flexibility can enter the $560 $5K Your Way satellite, which awards $5,000 in tournament buy-ins at a one-in-ten ratio and comes with a $15,000 guarantee.
There are also two routes into the $2,700 Championship. The $320 MEGA Championship satellite guarantees 10 seats, while another $320 Championship satellite guarantees five.

The $650 Super Deep 6-Max has grown to 75 entries as play heads into Level 8. Among them is Art Peters, who just earned a double up holding two kings.
A player in the cutoff had opened to 2,300 and the small blind called before Peters three-bet to 9,000 in the big blind. Only the small blind called. Peters then moved all in for 16,900 on the A♦J♦3♣ flop, and his opponent called.

Peters was ahead with his kings, while his opponent was on a straight draw. The rest of the board ran out 2♠4♥, and Peters doubled up to around 55,000.
In the $650 Super Deep 6-Max event, Allen Kerlin and an opponent built a pot of around 25,000 as they went to the turn with the board showing A♥10♠7♠8♣. The player under the gun then bet 12,000, and Kerlin called in the small blind.
The river was the 5♣ and the under-the-gun player bet 17,000. Kerlin again called, and his opponent could only show Q♥J♦ for a missed straight draw. Kerlin turned over A♠Q♦ for top pair to win the big pot as he increased his stack up to around 130,000, good for the early chip lead.
The Connecticut native already cashed in 39th place in the $600 Deep Stack Kick Off event earlier this festival and has more than $200,000 in live tournament earnings, including two wins in the Borgata Spring Poker Open this year.
Thomas Savitsky emerged as champion of the $500 H.O.S.E. event yesterday, beating out a field of 50 entries to take home $7,540.
The New Jersey native increased his total live earnings up to nearly $400,000, including two WSOP final tables.

The $650 Super Deep 6-Max has grown to 65 players so far through five levels of play. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 13.
The $500 T.O.R.S.E. event is also underway with 36 players currently registered.
David Golin of Brooklyn, New York, beat out a field of 365 players to win the $365 Seniors Championship. The event featured a prize pool of $113,150, with the top 47 players finishing in the money. Golin earned $11,565 for the win, increasing his live career earnings to around $60,000.

The action on Day 1a of the $650 Super Deep 6-Max is underway with 17 players currently registered.
Players begin with a 40,000 starting stack, and levels will be 30 minutes for the two day flights. There are also night flights taking place at 5:15 p.m. with 25-minute levels. The survivors from each of the four starting flights then return for Day 2 on July 23.

This event featured a $850 buy-in last year, with Patrick Neary defeating BetMGM ambassador Michael Lavin heads-up to take home the $31,906 top prize for beating out a field of 181 entries.
It will be a busy day inside the Borgata poker room today, with six events taking place throughout the day.
Day 2 of the $650 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship resumes at noon local time, with 25 players returning out of 197 entries.
The $650 Super Deep 6-Max event gets underway at 11:15 a.m. with the first of four starting flights. This event features a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, and the survivors from each starting flight will combine on Day 2 on July 23.

Derek Childress is the champion of the Borgata Summer Poker Open's $600 Deep Stack Kick Off after defeating Lingyu Zen in a heads-up battle to claim the title and the $170,610 top prize.
The two finalists agreed to an ICM deal, guaranteeing both $158,370, with the remaining money and the trophy left to play for. Childress ultimately closed it out to earn the title and trophy.
Zen looked like he would be the one to enter the winer's circle when he held a commanding chip lead, but Childress doubled after his pocket fours held against Zen's ace-seven to even the match.
Soon after Childress and Zen got into another flip, with the eventual champion's ace-queen winning a flip against pocket sixes.
