Emrich Draws Against McDonough

Level 20 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Michael McDonough
Michael McDonough

Thomas Emrich opened from under the gun to 25,000, and Ryan Carr called in middle position. Michael McDonough came along in the small blind, with Christopher Rudd defending his big blind.

McDonough and Rudd checked the 987 flop, and Emrich continued for 225,000. Carr got out of the way before McDonough check-raised all in. Rudd folded, and Emrich called off the last of his stack for 345,000 total.

Thomas Emrich: A10 All in
Michael McDonough: AQ

"I'm on a draw," Emrich said as he turned over his cards. McDonough was also on a draw, but Emrich connected with the 6 turn to make a straight. McDonough could not find a diamond on the 6 river, and Emrich earned much more than a double.

That left McDonough with just three big, which were gone shortly after.

Victor Ushakoff: 77 All in
Farzad Abbaszadeh: AK All in
Khamla Kounlavouth: QQ

Abbaszadeh connected with the JA9 flop, making top pair. Nothing further changed on the 5 turn or 6 river, as Abbaszadeh took both the main and side pots while sending Ushakoff to the rail.

Suseela Cracks Hughes' Aces

Level 19 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Michael Riddle opened the action with a raise to 50,000 from the hijack, before Vijesh Suseela three-bet all in for 215,000 from the cutoff.

Michael Hughes on the button then used one time extension, before making the call. It folded back to Riddle who got out of the way, to leave the players heads up, with Suseela at risk.

Vijesh Suseela: AK All in
Michael Hughes: AA

It was a cooler for Suseela who ran into Hughes' aces. The J29 flop left Suseela with only back door draws, but the 4 on the turn brought in one of those draws in the form of a flush draw. Suseela was already out of his seat and gave a big fist pump after the river brought the 7 to give him a flush and the double up.

The original raiser Riddle and Hughes were both eliminated shortly after the hand.
