Ohad Geiger has won the $3,500 Merit Poker Cup for $240,000, defeating Dmitrii Kravchenko heads-up to capture his first Merit Poker title.

Kravchenko fired a continuation-bet of 2,000,000 on the Q♠K♥2♠ flop, and Geiger called.

When the J♠ hit the turn, Kravchenko elected to shove for 6,375,000. Geiger picked up the chips, shrugged, and then put in the call for his first chance to win the tournament.

Kravchenko was making a move and held a pair and a flush draw against Geiger's second pair.

The dealer burned a card and placed the 3♦ on the river, which was safe for Geiger.

Kravchenko finished as the runner-up, while Geiger captured his first Merit Poker Series title by winning the Merit Poker Cup.

Ohad Geiger raised to 1,000,000 from under the gun before Yilu Yuan shoved from the small blind, covering the entire table. After the big blind folded, Geiger quickly called off his 11,800,000 chips, creating the biggest pot of the tournament so far.

Geiger made the call with the best hand, and the winner would become the overwhelming chip leader with more than half the chips in play.

There was very little suspense on the 2♦3♣Q♠3♦10♥ runout, as Geiger rivered a full house to double up to more than 23,000,000.
