Michael McDonough raised to 800 from under the gun, and Daeng Vang made the call in middle position. Todd Cox came along in the hijack, and McDonough led out for 1,600 on the 9♦2♦7♠ flop.
Vang called, while Cox let his hand go. McDonough slowed down with a check on the J♥ turn, and Vang fired 2,000 into the middle. The call was made, and McDonough checked again on the K♠ river.
After taking a moment, Vang counted out a bet of 6,000. That was enough to take down the pot, as McDonough slid his cards into the muck.
