WPT Global BOM Satellites

The 2026 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition features a €600 buy-in Main Event that boasts a €1.5 million guaranteed prize pool. You could be enjoying a four-night stay on the Mediterranean island at the VOCO Malta and be playing for the lion's share of that €1.5 million guarantee, having invested as little as $1.10 thanks to WPT Global.

Although the 2026 Battle of Malta (BOM) Autumn Edition is almost three months away, with the festival running from October 27 to November 4, now is the time to start your quest to qualify for this huge tournament.

Online poker giant WPT Global is already hosting BOM Main Event satellites, with two $1,600 packages guaranteed every Sunday. The Sunday satellite commands a $110 buy-in, but there are $1.10 and $11 buy-in satellites that feed into that weekly package-awarding tournament.

Should you get your hands on a BOM package, you'll receive:

  • €600 BOM Main Event seat
  • Four nights' accommodation for two at VOCO Malta, worth €640
  • €160 cash allowance
  • Exclusive WPT Global merchandise

You can choose to receive the €160 cash allowance or use it to include breakfast for you and your guest during your Maltese stay. It is worth noting that the four-night hotel accommodation dates are fixed as October 29 to November 2.

2026 BOM Autumn Official Main Events Schedule

The full 2026 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition schedule is still being pieced together, but the tour recently posted some of the events on its Instagram page. That schedule can be viewed by expanding the table below; the finalized schedule will feature an additional 30 side events!

You'll notice that the Main Event comes with €300 and €600 buy-in flights. Those costing €300 to enter play down to 7.5% of the field before the money places are reached, while the €600 buy-in versions play down to 15%.

It is fair to say that the 2025 Autumn Edition of the Battle of Malta Main Event exceeded all expectations. Including re-entries, a staggering 6,039 players bought in, resulting in a €2,728,270 prize pool that obliterated the €1,500,000 guarantee.

Among the 811 in-the-money finishers were the likes of Alex Montgomery, Leo Worthington-Leese, Ebony Kenney, Georgios Skarparis, Davide Suriano, Conor O'Driscoll, Jan Bendik, and Gary Fisher.

Each of the eight finalists walked away with at least €28,000 for their efforts, with the eventual champion padding his bankroll with €225,770 after a heads-up deal; Italy's Candido Cappiello is the reigning champion.
