Alexander Kostritsyn

Biography

Alexander Kostritsyn is a Russian poker player considered one of the greatest online poker cash game players of all time. Kostritsyn won his first World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet at the 2026 WSOP in Las Vegas.

Between 2006 and 2018, Kostritsyn cashed in 35 tournaments for more than $3.1 million. However, Kostritsyn was crushing high-stakes cash games during this time.

He took a break from tournament poker, but made a surprise appearance at the 2026 WSOP, entering the $25,000 High Roller H.O.R.S.E. Three days later, Kostritsyn defeated Ali Eslami heads-up to capture the title, his first bracelet, and $872,052 in prize money.
