Seven Return to Crown a Champion at the Final Table of the Borgata Summer Poker Open $2,700 Championship
The 2026 Borgata Summer Poker Open reaches its grand conclusion today with one player walking away with the $2,700 Championship event trophy.
Seven players out of a starting field of 565 will return to the Borgata poker room at noon local time with the goal of capturing the title and $242,385 top prize. For most of the field, though, their first challenge will be trying to catch up to chip leader Carlos Chadha.
Chadha, the D.C. native with nearly $3.5 million in live earnings, takes a commanding chip lead into the final table with 9,520,000. He controls more than 40 percent of the chips in play and has nearly three times the stack of his closest challenger.

Leading the following pack is Maxwell Young with 3,450,000. Michael Renna, who was fortunate even to make it to Day 4 after a series of double ups late yesterday, sits in third place with 2,795,000, while Nicholas Verderamo (2,630,000) and BetMGM qualifier James Tedrow (1,955,000) are in the middle of the pack. Russ Dunlevy (1,055,000) and Andrew Porter (1,030,000) enter the final table with less than 10 big blinds and will need a quick rush if they want to get back into contention.
The action picks up on Level 28 with blinds of 60,000/120,000 and a 120,000 big blind ante. Levels will be reduced to 60 minutes today, then to 30 minutes once heads-up play is reached. The seven finalists are guaranteed at least $34,620 out of the $1,356,000 prize pool for making it this far. The final table will be streamed on a 30-minute delay on BetMGM’s official YouTube channel, with PokerNews providing updates to match the stream.
