With around 300,000 already in the middle on a board of J♠4♠2♥Q♦, Pavel Shchitnikov jammed from the big blind, putting Boris Mondrus, who was seated in middle position, all in for his remaining 400,000 or so chips.
Mondrus tanked for quite some time before eventually deciding to call, slamming in the chips.

Mondrus had made the correct decision with top pair, as he was ahead of Shchitnikov's huge combo draw.
Unfortunately for Mondrus, the 8♦ river was one of Shchitnikov's outs, giving him the nut straight and bringing Mondrus' Merit Poker Cup run to an end.
