The dealer spread a 2♣4♥6♥ flop, which saw Loeser check, Van Rooij continue for 3,500, and Loeser call. The 6♣ turn then followed the same pattern, with Loeser check-calling another bet, this time for 18,000.

The 3♠ completed the board, and Loeser checked for a third time. Van Rooij took stock of his stack and then fired a third bet of 40,000. Loeser wasted no time at all in returning his cards to the dealer.

When the action checked to O'Leary again on the A♦ river, he opted to bet 5,200. That did the trick, as both Smuskevicius and Loeser folded their cards.

The 8♦ completed the board, and Loeser fired another bet, this time for 6,000. Pritsak called but quickly mucked his cards when Loeser tabled K♠2♦ for turned trips.
