After a couple of limps, Derek Crooks raised to 1,500 on the button and was called in two spots. The flop came J♥8♦7♦ and Crooks continued with a bet of 2,000. Jon Maras was the only player to call from the cutoff as the 10♣ landed on the turn.
Both players checked and the 10♠ paired the board on the river. Maras led out with a bet of 6,000 and Crooks flicked in a call. Maras dumped his cards into the muck and Crooks stole the pot without having to show his cards.
