Wynn Summer Classic Schedule For July 9

If you head to the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas today, July 9, you will discover a trio of events taking place.

Starting at 12:00 p.m. local time is Day 2 of the $2,200 No-Limit Hold'em event, which obliterated its $2 million guaranteed.

As that event resumes, a $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em tournament shuffles up and deals. It sees players sit down with a 30,000 stack, play to 30-minute levels, and battle it out for the lion's share of a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Later in the evening, at 6:00 p.m. local time, there is a $1,100 buy-in, $100,000 guaranteed No-Limit Hold'em Turbo tournament. Players start their quest for glory with 30,000 chips and lock horns across 20-minute levels.

Richard Dubini Bags a Top 10 Stack in the $2M Gtd Event

The Wynn Summer Classic $2,200 No-Limit Hold'em $2 million guaranteed event edged closer to crowning its champion on July 8. While 1,747 entrants bought in during this event's starting flights, only 218 of them remain in contention for a slice of the guarantee-busting $3,467,795 prize pool.

Former PartyPoker-sponsored pro Richard Dubini (827,000) finds himself among the chip leaders on Day 2. The Argentinian, who has almost $2.4 million in live poker tournament cashes, returns to the action in sixth-place, nicely poised to not only reach the money places but eventually progress to the final table.

Only five players finished the night with more chips than Dubini. Borja Gonzalez (1,189,000) is the overall chip leader, followed by Akash Seth (1,079,000), Sung Him Wong (963,000), Robert Pagano (895,000), and Robert Grossglauser (860,000).

Kevin Kent Gets the NLH Turbo Trophy

Kevin Kent entered the $1,100 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo event last night at Wynn Las Vegas, just like 186 other participants. The difference between him and those other players is he won the trophy and collected the largest payout.

Kent, from Chandler, Arizona, received $44,629 of the $182,325 prize pool. Antonio Olguin was the runner-up, a spot that paid $27,423. Lei Yuan earned $19,739 for third place, followed by Yohan Rascar getting $14,934 for fourth place, and Patrick Plott taking home $11,094 for fifth place.

Ayman Qutami is a Mystery Bounty Winner for $331,622

Ayman Qutami is one of the biggest winners of the summer in the Wynn Summer Classic.

Qutami took down the $1,600 NLH Mystery Bounty, a $2 million guaranteed tournament that had $2,988,480 in the middle. He collected the biggest payout of $331,622.

The champion beat out Maksim Pisarenko heads-up for the title, while the runner-up received $222,354. Mathieu His finished in third place for $162,757. Qutami now has over $1.8 million in The Hendon Mob recorded live tournament cashes.

There's still plenty of time to chase big wins at the 2026 Wynn Summer Classic.

We might be nearing the end, but the big events are rolling on. Today's action features one major event and a satellite into that no-limit hold'em tournament.

The tournament we're speaking about is the $2,200 No-Limit Hold'em, which features a $2,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. Yesterday was Day 1a, and today at noon will be Day 1b.

If you're looking to enter the tournament less expensively, there's a $400 Milestone Satellite at 10 a.m. today, and 10 seats will be awarded.

While Day 2 of the $1,600 Mystery Bounty headlines Tuesday, July 7 at the Wynn Summer Classic, there's also plenty of action expected on Day 1a of the $2,000,000 GTD $2,200 NLHE.

There's also a $400 buy-in Milestone Satellite to the $2,200 NLH which start at 2 p.m. In that tournament, there are ten seats guaranteed and late registration open until 5 p.m.

Day 1c of the Wynn $1,600 Mystery Bounty was by far the largest flight of the tournament, with 1,314 entries almost doubling the number of entries over the first two starting flights.

That brings the total number of entries into this event to 2,086, generating a total prize pool of $2,982,980.

Leading the 162 survivors from Day 1c is Ryan Plant, who is the overall chip leader heading into Day 2.

It's a very easy schedule for today at the Wynn Summer Classic with the final two starting flights of the $1,600 Mystery Bounty.

Abbas Heidari Leads Mystery Bounty After Day 1b

Just 67 players advanced from a field of 538 after Day 1b of the Wynn Summer Classic $1,600 Mystery Bounty.

The field more than doubled yesterday's Day 1a's figure of 234 players, and at the end of the day it was Abbas Heidari who held the lead with 967,000 chips.

He and Kharlin Sued are the only players with 100 big blind stacks or more, with average stack currently sitting at 321,667.
