The field has grown to nearly 70 entries in the opening levels with late registration open until approximately 10 p.m. local time. The players are now going on their first 15-minute break of the day.
After a few players limped in, Michael Cassiday-Maloney raised it up from the big blind and still found three callers. An action flop of K♠8♥7♠ hit the felt and Cassiday-Maloney continued with a bet. The player on his left just called and another player jammed all in for around 30,000. Cassiday-Maloney also shoved all in as the big stack and the player on his left called off his stack of 19,500.

Cassiday-Maloney was currently in the lead but he acknowledged that he had a lot of cards to fade. The turn was the 10♥ which narrowed his opponent's outs and the 2♥ river improved Cassiday-Maloney to a flush and eliminated both of his opponents.

After a couple of limps, Derek Crooks raised to 1,500 on the button and was called in two spots. The flop came J♥8♦7♦ and Crooks continued with a bet of 2,000. Jon Maras was the only player to call from the cutoff as the 10♣ landed on the turn.
Both players checked and the 10♠ paired the board on the river. Maras led out with a bet of 6,000 and Crooks flicked in a call. Maras dumped his cards into the muck and Crooks stole the pot without having to show his cards.
A completed board of A♠6♥5♣K♣4♦ was spread across the felt with three players still active in the hand. Judith Wiehr was first to act and led out with a bet of 1,500 from the big blind.
She was called by the cutoff and Jaimie Meidinger also called from the button. Wiehr turned over 5♠5♦ for a set of fives and neither of her opponents could beat her.

In a three-way pot with the flop reading K♦10♠5♦, Michael Cassiday-Maloney led out with a bet of 500 in the small blind. Jarrod Blackwell just called and the button raised to 1,500. Cassiday-Maloney folded but Blackwell stuck around for the 8♠ on the turn.
Blackwell check-called another bet of 2,000 from his opponent and the 7♦ completed the board. Blackwell led out with a bet of 6,500 this time and his opponent relinquished his cards. Blackwell did the table a favor and showed his Q♦J♦ for a rivered flush.
"How could I miss?" He rhetorically asked.
