Morris Rolled Up as He Ascends Up the Counts

Level 8

Stud Hi-Lo

Action picked up on fifth street with just over 100,000 in the middle already as Luke Schwartz, Arthur Morris, and Ryan Miller had inflated the pot.

Luke Schwartz: XxXx / K8A - folded on fifth street
Arthur Morris: XxXx / 610Q5 / Xx
Ryan Miller: XxXx / 2882 / Xx

Miller led with open eights, Schwartz called and Morris raised. Miller then three-bet, Schwartz tank-folded, Morris made it four bets, and Miller called.

Sixth street would check through after Miller made open two pair, and Morris also elected to check back on seventh. Miller pointed to his board showing he made no improvement, prompting Morris to flip over 66K in the hole as he was rolled up to start the hand and had the winner.

"I thought we were playing Stud Hi," Schwartz admitted, while tablemate Shaun Deeb ridiculed Morris for not betting sixth street. Morris had the last laugh, however, as he becomes one of the largest stacks in the room, while Deeb sits on half a starting stack on bullet two.
